Hot runner protection

Problem:
Complex injection moulding tools with hot runner system are often affected by overmoulding, wear and failure..
Solution approach:
- Leakage detection in real time by evaluating the performance data of the temperature sensors and heaters
- Placement of suitable sensors in the hot runner manifold
- Monitoring of the hydraulic / pneumatic cylinders
Early notification and detection of impending system failure
Cycle times
too long and based on experience
Problem:
Cycle times change in the injection molding process.
The material characterization happens in the laboratory , independently of the actual process.
Solution approach:
- Evaluation of the demoulding forces to detect a change in the proportion of recycled material in the injection molding process
